Podz is a private family and group organizer app that gives your pod one shared place for calendars, events, to-dos, trips, photos, meals, polls, recipes, and chats. Instead of juggling multiple apps and group threads, Podz keeps everything organized inside private spaces called Pods.

Many apps focus on just calendars or lists. Podz combines shared calendars, to-do lists, reminders, trips, polls, chat, and photo sharing into one app designed for families and groups. Each Pod is private and focused on helping your group stay in sync, not on selling your data.

A Pod is a private shared space for your family or group. Each Pod has its own shared calendar, events, to-dos, polls, chats, photos, and trip planning tools. You can belong to more than one Pod, such as a family Pod, a team Pod, and a travel Pod.

To invite someone, open your Pod, tap Members, and choose Invite Member. You can send an invite by email, text message, or link. Once they accept, they instantly see your shared calendar, events, to-dos, trips, and chats.

Yes. Teens and older kids can join Pods to see schedules, assignments, team practices, or chores. Parents control who is invited and what each Pod is used for. Podz does not require children to create public profiles, keeping family data private and contained.

Yes. Every Pod has a shared calendar that all members can see. You can add events, set reminders, and view your schedule by day, week, month, or upcoming list so nobody misses a game, practice, appointment, or meetup.

Yes. Podz can sync with calendars on your device (such as iPhone or Android calendars), and you can import events from services like Google Calendar into your Pod. Open the “More” tab, choose “Synchronize,” and follow the prompts.

Yes. You can create shared to-do lists, shopping lists, and packing lists for your Pod. Any member can add items, assign tasks, and mark them complete, and everyone sees updates in real time with optional reminders.

Yes. Podz includes trip planning tools that let you organize flights, hotels, activities, reservations, and notes in one place. You can share itineraries with your Pod, add photos, and keep everyone on the same page while traveling.

Absolutely. You can create or join multiple Pods—for example, one for your family, one for a team, and one for a club—and switch between them using the Pod selector at the top of the app.

Yes. Podz works on both iOS and Android, and groups can mix devices with no issues. Everyone sees the same events, lists, notifications, and trip details regardless of which phone they use.

Yes. Podz stores your recent data on your device, so you can view calendars, trips, and to-dos even without signal. Updates sync automatically as soon as you’re back online, which is especially helpful for travel and areas with weak coverage.

If you are not receiving notifications from Podz:

1. Allow notifications when Podz first prompts you after installation.
2. Open your Pod profile and make sure “Silence Notifications” is turned off.
3. Check your device’s notification settings and confirm Podz is allowed to send alerts, sounds, and banners.

Yes. Podz gives you full control over notifications for events, reminders, to-dos, chats, and mentions. You can enable or silence notifications per Pod or globally, and each member can customize their own settings so they only get the alerts they want.

Yes. To delete your account, open the main menu, go to your member profile, scroll down, and choose Delete Podz Account. Your personal data will be removed from our systems. Events that others still rely on may remain, but without your personal details attached.

Podz uses your location to share your position with pod members (if you choose), help you find event locations, and show local weather related to your plans. Location is used temporarily for these features and is not stored as a detailed location history.

We take data security seriously. Podz uses modern encryption and best practices for data in transit and at rest. Pods are private by design, and we do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.

No. Podz does not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes. We may use aggregated, non-identifying usage data to help improve the app, but that information is not tied back to your identity.
